All of our Doctors are committed to continuing medical education and to teaching. Students from the Faculties of Medicine and Pharmacy at the University of Tasmania frequently sit in with our Doctors.  During a student placement you may be asked if you are comfortable with the student being present during your consultation.  It is your decision to accept or decline as you wish, so please advise your Doctor of your choice.

We are also accredited for training by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Some of our doctors are ‘GP Registrars’ under this scheme. All Doctors are Vocationally Registered in recognition of their commitment to continuing medical education. This means that they may be absent on educational courses as well as normal holidays.
